Rebuilt Babel London
Group Exhibition, 2026 Jan
“BABEL REBUILT” explores moments when language fractures and meaning becomes unstable.Rooted in the myth of the Tower of Babel, the exhibition reflects on humanity’s recurring desire to connect — and the inevitable failures, overlaps, and misunderstandings embedded in communication. Inspired by Cildo Meireles’ Babel (2001), the exhibition considers language as noise, signal, and residue. When words collapse, Babel Rebuilt turns toward material, spatial, and sensory forms of expression — sound, image, texture, and embodied presence — as alternative ways of speaking.
